Hello Hampton Roads!

Today was the first day in several weeks (after battling a stubborn case of the flu) that I actually felt the energy to get out and get people excited about the opportunity to be a part of  the political solution for ending global poverty.  I found myself at my alma mater wondering how students (in general)  have changed since my graduation. What impressed me the most about being back in that oddly familiar setting, was the beauty and grandeur of the campus! How majestic the buildings looked poised against the steely-gray cloud burdened sky.  Few students scurried about between the labyrinth of newly constructed buildings.  I now see my former college as a delightful opportunity to inform our future businessmen, educators, doctors, engineers, psychologist, and all others, about the importance of being "their brother's keeper."  After all, hunger is not culturally relevant. With one hand we feed ourselves and with the other we feed our brother.
